“Innovation and cybercrime: challenges of the digital transformation in Europe” CAMINO-COURAGE workshop in Montpellier

The University of Montpellier and CAMINO - Comprehensive Approach to Cyber Roadmap Coordination and Development - and COuRAGE - Cybercrime and Cyberterrorism European Research Agenda - consortia have the great pleasure to invite you to the CAMINO & COURAGE joint workshop on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9, April 2015 in Montpellier.

The CAMINO-COURAGE workshop will gather experts in the fight against cybercrime and cyberterrorism. Representatives from academia, industry and policy makers, and end users are invited to take part of this event.

The two-days workshop, focused on "Innovation and cybercrime: challenges of the digital transformation in Europe", will be led by:

- Keynote speeches organised in 5 sessions, chaired by cybersecurity experts, on topics related to:

• Digital innovations, cybercrime and cyberterrorism
• Analysis of risks and strategies of cyberthreats
• The development of virtual currencies
• Big data, Internet of things and Security
• European projects, International cooperation, research and training in the fight against cybercrime and cyberterrorism

- Presentations of the first outcomes from both CAMINO and COuRAGE projects.

Some information about Montpellier

At the heart of the Mediterranean arc, Montpellier is the capital of the department of Herault and the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
